Taranui Anakiwa village has many attractions including fishing, sea kayaking, mountain biking and sheltered beaches which are home to many fish, sea birds, seals and dolphins. The Queen Charlotte Walkway provides for extended tramps or brief strolls. Local Marlborough wineries are only a short drive away. The village is also home to New Zealand's only Outward Bound adventure school.

Local Facilities

There is a convenience store / petrol station approximately 6km away in Linkwater. There is also a pub / restaurant which offers a courtesy bus to and from our bach. In summer there is a coffee shop open in one of the guest houses in Anakiwa.

The nearest town Picton, only 30 minutes away, has various supermarkets who are happy to take orders by phone and deliver them by water taxi the following day.
